  • This trait no longer reduces the cooldown of tool-kit skills. Increased the elite skill recharge from 1 second to 3 seconds in PvP and WvW.

  • Fixed a bug in which this trait erroneously displayed increased damage for the Tool Kit autoattack.
February 25, 2020 Competitive content update:
  • (Competitive split) Reduced cooldown reduction from 33% to 20%. Reduced elite skill recharge from 3 seconds to 1 second.

  • This trait no longer increases tool kit damage or turret repairs. This trait now reduces the recharge time of the engineer's elite skill by 3 seconds when they dodge, in addition to its previous 33% tool kit recharge reduction.

  • The recharge reduction of this trait has been increased from 20% to 33%.
June 23, 2015 Specialization update:
  • Updated this trait to reflect the introduction of the specialization mechanic.
  • This trait has been moved to the Adept tier.

  • This trait now increases the base damage of Tool Kit abilities by 10% instead of adding the crippled condition to wrench attacks.
