Acquisition

• Mini Angry Chest grants access to the journey required to earn this miniature. The following steps must be completed in order to receive this item:
  1. Speak with Evon Gnashblade in Lion's Arch.
  2. Speak with Krepet in Metrica Province.
  3. Defeat Frostblast in Wayfarer Foothills to get the Hyperchill effect.
  4. Enter the lava in the volcano in Mount Maelstrom.

Evon Gnashblade How are you liking your angry chest purchase? They are a bit aggressive. I had to fire Krepet, he was responsible for this mess. Why don't you open them? So much danger is involved with trying to open these things that I'm practically giving them away free. Do you know where Krepet is now? Last I heard he accepted a position with Brill Alliance Labs. Thanks for your time. Krepet Evon Gnashblade sent you? I'm done working for that coward. You can let him know I'm seeking legal council for wrongful termination. What happened? I warned him these beasts would be aggressive and the cost and size of the operation to open all these would be substantial. Now it looks like he's sold you his mess. Can you tell me what needs to be done so I can open this one? A combination of extreme heat and extreme cold will slow it down long enough to open it. I should warn you, the process is very dangerous. How bad can it be? You will need to find the ice elemental named Frostblast and dispatch it to hyperchill you and the angry chest. Frostblast roams the northern side of Wayfarer Foothills. That doesn't seem so bad. Then travel to Maelstrom's Core. Step into the flowing magma, and if you survive, it will be docile enough to remove whatever is inside it. Sounds like a piece of grumble cake! I'm not done. You need to do all this before you and your angry chest warm back up. Roughly five minutes. Thank you. I've got some ground to cover, so I'll be off now.

Notes

• Evon Gnashblade will not accept dialogue when he is roaming around. You can talk to him when he stands behind his desk in The Vaults. It may take some time until he is ready to talk when he is coming from his walk right away.

Bug:

If you are crafting The Dreamer, but have not completed the entire quest chain and obtained the Mini Red Spark, Evon Gnashblade will not prompt the relevant dialogue for the legendary collection.
