Kyrisah and her older sister Meymo were taken by their parents on a pilgrimage to seek Ascension at Augury Rock. According to Chessa, their mother succumbed to the sulfur. The girls fell sick, and their father "did what he thought was best for them" by taking their lives. Dunkoro, a fellow ghost, takes care of the sisters now.

Yep. I have my sister, Meymo, and we look out for each other. Dunkoro takes care of us, too. We're helping him find ways to fight Joko.
