Korrak Blacksnout
“Can't wait to sink my claws into some fat human merchants.
— Korrak Blacksnout
Centurion Korrak Blacksnout was an officer of the Iron Legion. He had a grizzled face with a lion-like snout, scars that crisscrossed his dewlaps, and his horns were broken from years of hard campaigning.
In 1319 AE, he was put in charge of leading a contingent of 300 soldiers through the Blazeridge Gap to hunt down human merchant caravans supplying Ebonhawke. Among his soldiers was Rytlock Brimstone, after he had been stripped of his rank and forced to perform a long term tour campaign among the other legions by Imperator Bangar Ruinbringer. During the journey, Rytlock warned Korrak of an incoming trap he was marching his troops into. Korrak ignored the warning, however, and called Rytlock a coward, forcing Rytlock to march in the front of the column. Korrak and his command corps joined in the front, which inadvertently saved their lives when the trap was sprung and several of the warbands were buried under an avalanche of rocks.
When Rytlock repeated that he warned Korrak, Korrak burst out in rage and swung his axe-rifle at Rytlock, who dodged out of the way, unsheathed Sohothin, and cut off Korrak's head. With their leader dead, Rytlock took charge of the surviving charr solders to chase after the human mercenaries led by Logan Thackeray.
