Something's really been bothering the dogs lately. All the Awakened servants are accounted to my knowledge, but something's really got them riled up.

Awakened servants? What are these dogs trained for?

Oh, they're trained to track to down wayward Awakened. Sometimes the weaker servants get off task and wander away. The dogs help find them and bring them home. They're mummy shepherds, basically.

Absolutely! They're a tireless source of labor. Before the war, we had a steady supply of servants to help with the harvest. Now most Awakened are fighting the Forged, and we're struggling to get by.

How is it harder now?

Now that the war has cut us from the empire, everything is different. Something fishy is going on. There's tension in the air that was never there before.
