Grand Wizard Garren

This article is about the mage who worked for Krytan royalty. For the mage of the Wizard's Tower, see Isgarren. Grand Wizard Garren was a mage who was working for King Roderick of Kryta around 1265 AE. He is the one who built the gardens in the Upper City of Divinity's Reach.[1]

- In Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure, it is revealed that the title "Wizard" refers specifically to those who underwent a unique Seer ritual known as "divcia nava"[2][3] as part of joining the Wizard's Court, and is the best equivalent modern term for an ancient title. Any relation Grand Wizard Garren may have to these wizards, or the similarly named Isgarren, is unknown.
