Seer Curses and Rituals is a book concerning the nature of seer magic. It can be found inside the Southern Wizard's Tower in the Skywatch Archipelago, and on the upper floor of the Grand Library of Amnytas.
The Beginning

It is with little surprise to those in the Astral Ward or Wizard's Court that a great deal of the magic and phenomena that surround us are of seer origin. While many of these secrets should remain just that—secret—it is critical to understand the nature of the wizards' magic in order to successfully navigate your time in this organization. Every day, in some unique way, you will be interacting with these powers. Some of these spells and curses are harmless, but some could kill you on the spot should you not approach them with the utmost respect. Seer knowledge is not like anything you've experienced before.
The easiest place to start would be, well, myself. Being one of—if not the only—remaining seers left within the bounds of Tyria, I am something of a phenomenon. Similarly, the ritual process that allows one to connect with the flow of magic that sustains this world and become a "wizard" (the most appropriate translation from our original tongue) is of the same origin and requires a great deal of blood, time, and focus to complete.
In this book, I will walk you through my anecdotal experiences and opinions surrounding these magics so that you are prepared to face the many obstacles hidden throughout the halls of Amnytas.
