Defend Wikk as he calibrates the asura gate is a level 55 Dynamic event that occurs in Fisher's Eye Bridges. The event is triggered when a player interacts with a console on the west side of a back cave behind the asura outpost. Upon examining the text of the button on the console, Researcher Wikk runs over and warns you to ignore the button. The player may then interact with the console again and choose to push the button which will trigger the event.

Dialogue[edit]

Upon examining the text on the button
Researcher Wikk: "Careful, you. Stay clear of that button."
Researcher Wikk: "The portal hasn't been calibrated, yet. I warn you, a premature activation would be calamitous."
After pushing the button
Researcher Wikk: "You fool! I warned you not to push that button."
Researcher Wikk: "What is it about buttons that half-wits find so irresistable? You're helping me deal with whatever comes through that gate, you hear?"

Notes[edit]

  • Enemies come in waves of like species. New enemies spawn only when the current wave is dead.
  • Wikk is very fragile, and the enemies will go after him if you don't attack them immediately upon spawning. His defeat will cause the event to fail and proceed to the next event.
  • The Deer are neutral and will run to the tunnel mouth and despawn. You can use this to buy yourself some recovery time.
  • Likewise, the ambient creatures are harmless and will run past to the tunnel mouth, where they explode harmlessly.
  • There is no special reward for success.
  • Players cannot travel through the asura gate.
