Watch out! There are dangerous creatures ahead!

Really? What sort of creatures?

Ettins. A whole pack of them, to the south. They attack anything that moves, so stay clear. Also...nah, never mind.

What? Is there something else?

Yeah. Watch out for Ert. It's a monster. The biggest, meanest ettin out there. And probably the dumbest. If you see it, run.

OK. What about that little moa over there?

Oh, that's just Meebles, Dusty Ottely's [sic] pet. She gets lost sometimes. If you go give her a nudge northward, she'll find her way home.

Why not do it yourself?

I think someone from the Seraph must have scared her when she younger. She always shies away from me when I approach, and I don't want to risk agitating her to the point that she gets too close to the ettins.

I might just do that.

Anything else in this area?

Nope, pretty much just ettins. And any rabbits they don't smash. There is the Ottely [sic] family to the northwest, I guess. Nice people. The mother, Cicely, used to bring me bread before she died. Sweet lady.
