He would engage in frequent forays throughout the area to collect scraps from previous battles, particularly those between the Vigil and the Shatterer. On one such occasion, he found a large hammer, and was told it had belonged to a powerful Iron Legion scrapper like himself who had mysteriously disappeared. Ramad kept the hammer, and helped the Vigil fend off the Shatterer's next assault. No sooner had Kralkatorrik's champion been defeated, however, than it was mysteriously resurrected by necrotic energies that looked suspiciously like those of Zhaitan. The resurrected Shatterer flew south, and the Vigil forces set out in pursuit. Ramad went with them, hoping that his warband would understand that he was aiding their cause against a larger threat.
