Warden Fila is a sylvari living in the Town of Cathal in Trader's Green who knows much about the hounds.

- Don't mind the pups. They talk big, but they know not to bite.
What are you doing?
- I'm training sylvan hound pups to work with other Wardens. They're strong and loving. As long as you treat them with affection, they'll stick with you through thick and thin.
- Do you know anything about the Nightmare Court's thorn hounds?
- Sadly, I do. Nightmare courtiers train their hounds through fear and intimidation. The animals grow to hate everything around them, and when able to, they lash out at whatever they can.
- Is there any way to help them?
- We've tried, but we've never been able to break them of their hate. It's more than just their heart that is tainted by nightmare. Their very bodies shift into something darker and more malevolent.
