Removing the numbers symbols on asuran scripts page

Thanks... it was a lot of work, how am I sensed ro recover my image files now? Maybe next time, ask / put them in an archive somewhere. There is maybe no proof saying they are tre, but they are no proofs saying they aren't. -Ezrielia The preceding unsigned comment was added by 78.237.158.191 (talk) at 11:28, 22 November 2020‎ (UTC).

Hey Ezrielia, I moved the images to your userspace. If we had a valid source for the icons we would be happy to add them back to the page. See Talk:Asuran script#Added numbers or symbols.

Thanks you. Well, for the ? symbol, here is what I have: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Super_Adventure_Box_o%27_Fun_box.jpg.
The symbol do exist in game. It is used on a yellow block, and appear and is punched from under (Possible effect when using sab box o fun). So only from that, it is more than safe to assume it is a ? block, ::like in mario. If it isn't any source, I could ask the original creator of SAB but as you know, he isn't at ANET anymore. So where I perfectly understand how the wiki function, isn't it sad, all the pages tha ::will never fully finished because there isn't any quote from devs or confirmations? For the numbers. Those symbols are scrolling rapidly at the right of breachmaker console. Reminding me of hacking scene in ::movies with 0 and 1 scrolling. This is just a theory, but the consoles to me have both languages: Krytan for bookahs not knowing the ID of the console, and in asuran for the asura engineers. But there isn't ::really any proof. But I do consider that concept art and render in game of that yellow block to be a proof to add the ? symbol.--Inquest Overseer Ezrielia (talk) 11:56, 22 ::November 2020 (UTC)
Josh Foreman actually has a twitch account that he streams fairly regularly with, so if you wanted to ask him about the symbols, you can; I can send you the link if you would like. From his SAB deep dive from earlier this year, I do remember him saying the letters in SAB was the work of another dev, and I'm pretty sure he said the letters in SAB are just New Krytan converted into 8 bit. if I can find my notes from his playthrough last year I'll know for sure. - Doodleplex 16:00, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
I am aware of its twitch; but has you said no point of asking him directly: the letters was the work of another dev, here I think we are looking for an asset designer for the cube. I totally agree with you about the letters, through here we speak about punctuation. I do see what you mean, if we look at the shield intro/skin or the dialogue box in SAB we can both agree it's new krytan. Through the symbol on that yellow block doesn't look like any existing new krytan symbol. And I doubt it is just a zero with a point under it. I would prefer if possible to ask directly a dev through an AFC or stream, but they don't take questions lately. I dunno if quoting anet on twitter and openly asking the question will get any result... do you think I may have more chance by asking openly on reddit? I mean, I don't want to appear annoying to the devs. --Inquest Overseer Ezrielia (talk) 19:03, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
You pointed out the question mark on User talk:Doodleplex#So the SAB block symbol affair result. I added it back to the article. —Kvothe (talk) 15:50, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
Seems I can not read today. Moved the question mark to New Krytan. —Kvothe (talk) 16:31, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

Your revert 2190295

Is wrong on two three counts:

  1. Battle for Lion's Arch is already linked up above in the article, making this link unnecessary and breaking standard linking guidelines.
  2. When I originally brought up linking that image on the talk page, I did not receive support. It should not be linked as such.
  3. (edit: added) Order of Whispers is already linked up above in the article, making this link unnecessary and breaking standard linking guidelines.

Please self-revert. Thanks. horrible | contribs 19:20, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

Every organization has dozens generic models, so the Note has no meaning. So should we add "uses the Generic male hooded model?" That would be accurate then, since that is how we organize pictures, based on you saying we should not be breaking guidelines. Also maybe no one supported the linking because people were against hiding the picture in the first place. ~Sime 19:25, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) I'm not going to search up half the page for one link. I consider overlinking if the link reappears in the next 3 lines or over and over on a page. That is not the case here. People were against hiding the image and by that against only using a link. —Kvothe (talk) 19:28, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) Nice job ignoring #1 and #3. Also, I couldn't give two shits why people were against the linking, Sime. Given the history of the article, if it is going to be added, it should be discussed on the talk page in its own section. horrible | contribs 19:29, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
It was there originally, so technically it isn't "if it is going to be added" but rather "if it is going to be removed", which is your stance and... no one else's based on a cursory glance at the talk page. 35.128.192.3 19:36, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
It wasn't there originally, though. It was added after the discussion with no input other. horrible | contribs 19:37, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
It actually was, until you removed it in June. Kossage, rightly, re-added it after the discussion petered out as people weren't re-adding it to avoid exactly what you (nearly) just did now: edit warring. 35.128.192.3 19:41, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

Where are the datamined SAB skills icons?

Heya, I would like to know where are the datamined SAB skills icons, like plimpton, flame sword, rocket and so on, and can't manage to find them any more, only the datamined splash screens texts. --88.163.127.2 07:55, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

Afaik there were some new, unused SAB icons, but they have been deleted since. ~Sime 14:27, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Old unused datamined icons were deleted. —Kvothe (talk) 20:04, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
