Header[edit]

You're more than welcome to use the header design. I'm honored, in fact. As long as you don't claim it as your own sweat and toil, you're more than welcome to borrow anything that I've written. But thank you for asking! —Jyavoc 22:53, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Heart of the Bear[edit]

Use the {{Object infobox}} to describe objects (items with yellow names). I fixed the page accordingly. We might want a day time version of the statue as well since the night time looks cool but doesn't show as much of the shape.--Relyk Christmas sig.jpg talk 23:43, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

Yes, got it. Making a new upload as I writing this. --Hencovic 23:48, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
When the image is named properly - i.e. File:{PAGENAME}.jpg - there's no need to use the screenshot parameter. Most of our infoboxes will automatically pick up images that match the page name. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 00:06, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Yes, saw your edit there. I didn't know how to upload an image from scratch so to speak. But then I happened to see the Upload file tool.. My bad. I will continue to upload images and do my edits. Thanks. Oh, I have started a discussion with Konig about Area format. I like to have Events in a separate section. Those are not required for the map completion. I can accept that we label the Locations and objectives as we do now. But I want the events out of there. --Hencovic 00:13, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
I don't mind grouping with the map completion items, we list mini-puzzles and jumping puzzles in that same section. Many areas will have one or no events and events are associated with the zone, they can spam multiple areas after all. We can have a separate section to distinguish map completion activities and other activities, but a "all the shit you can do" umbrella section works better for areas because there isn't that much content in individual areas.--Relyk Christmas sig.jpg talk 05:02, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Strothmir[edit]

If the template can't find it, fix it by doing this. hf--Relyk Christmas sig.jpg talk 21:57, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I was there just minutes after I did the page there. But I see that you added the line, and it works now. Beutiful. I can and will edit templates if I see something to be added in the future. Thanks.

Regarding this[edit]

I may be wrong here, but I don't think they have a level shown and their names are white - making them critters that count to Fish Slayer. Also, Slayer doesn't document type, which is how we document in that list - as proven by dungeons, where all foes count to the same slayer though to different types. Konig/talk 02:49, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

In that particular case, it showned the level. Otherwise I hadn't put it there. Regarding the types and Slayer achivement, yes you are mostly right. Perhaps there is one, but I like a page where I can see which foe belongs to which Slayer group. Putting them in more detailed spieces is correct. Hencovic 03:11, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Hencovic is correct, there are level 1 Salmon in Grawlenfjord. If you're level 2 and still using your starter equipment, they take 2 hits to kill. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 05:53, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
Interesting. I either don't remember, or never noticed this. Konig/talk 06:03, 30 December 2012 (UTC)

Snow Leopard[edit]

Since you asked. :P Bah, I see you found it on your own already. Carry on. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 21:59, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

lol, yeah, I did. But for a minute I got really confused. Perhaps an old redirect that easily could be fixed. Thanks. Hencovic 22:13, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

beast[edit]

that dialogue, kill it with fire.--Relyk ~ talk > 08:14, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

Eh, which dialogue? Hencovic 08:20, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
on random npcs--Relyk ~ talk > 08:37, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
You mean I don't follow the format for dialogues? Well sure, I can do better. I can take a discussion on that page instead. I do them in the way we see them in the game. Italics for the player. Hencovic 08:41, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
beast that dialogue as in grind it out, kill it with fire as in adding npc dialogue is tedious and thankless work.--Relyk ~ talk > 08:43, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
Oh, you are kind to me! Well, as long as I don't matter I can do it. It won´'t take so much time for me. I'm done with all the locations in Lornar's Pass. I will be moving on to the next higher area now. Creating location pages for them as I go. Hencovic 08:48, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

event success and failure[edit]

{{Event success}} and {{Event failure}}, what are you using these for?--Relyk ~ talk > 21:41, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

I have seen somewhere that in the Location list, for example Iron Marches, someone had used the green arrow (more) to display a successful event. Instead of writing Success, I thought it could be nice to have such a template. Not necessary to use it everywhere though. But perhaps in the future? The Iron Marches example is mine so. It's ok to put them away if you think it's the best right now. Consider it a test then. Sandbok, yes I know.. Hencovic 22:00, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Ahh those are the arrows we use in the template, That's something people won't have a problem with. We actually handle all the icons in {{event icon}} and then make those abbreviated templates, which is mostly why I asked.--Relyk ~ talk > 22:17, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Sweet, saw your edit. I want to change the link text to appropriate version though, ie Success and Failure. RE-EDIT: Oh, the link actually is just the link, I meant Hover-text.. Is it possible? Or just needs coding? Hencovic 22:46, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Talk more option tango.png. I hope that works for you :) (I considered adding hover texts to the other icons but I'd be at a loss as to what all those crazy symbols indicate :p + how to express it elegantly in shorthand) Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 23:08, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
Yes, perfect. And no the others will be wrong doing that. But perhaps explain in an other page what every type of event mean, and how to come out successfully out of it. Should we also add which NPC shouts for help to every event? I like that idea. It is a function to that, displaying which event and where. Hencovic 23:13, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

Maw's Rise[edit]

"Maw's Rise is the spot where Maw will rise in False River Valley." Oh god we are all doomed.--Relyk ~ talk > 16:21, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

Lol, yeah, that's why I really put up the stub.. I just wanna create the page. Can't find the event that spawns there and assumed someting like that, did the event once or two times there but don't rembemer more. Change it if you know more. Hencovic 16:23, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
