A kit is a special type of utility skill exclusive to the engineer profession. Using a kit replaces the currently equipped weapon and its skills with a special skill set. Kits can be toggled, allowing characters to switch back to their original weapon, while the kit goes into recharge. There is currently no restrictions on when and how often an engineer can swap between kits. There are two kinds of kits: weapon kits and device kits. Mechanically they are the same, with only minor aesthetic differences.
