Template talk:Shared Model Project

I applaud the positive verbiage for the first parameter on this template, "excellent, good, and passable.", but the second parameter refers to images of "low" quality. Perhaps a rephrasing of the 2nd parameter to be "Used to provide further information for how images can be improved" would be more appropriate? Greener (talk) 22:38, 18 September 2020 (UTC)

Oops, copy paste error from the Image request template, thanks for catching that! - Doodleplex 22:42, 18 September 2020 (UTC)

Objects[edit]

As the Shared Model Project covers objects as well as NPCs, perhaps the wording for the template's description (both in the template itself and on the page for the template) could be adjusted so that it can apply to objects as well? Sunlion (talk) 00:04, 19 September 2020 (UTC)

Sorry I didn’t respond to this! Yes, I did tweak it to include objects too. Cheers! - Doodleplex 17:40, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Yellow[edit]

Since I've seen a couple instances of it already, why is yellow so bad? As long as it's not blinding (which I haven't seen any instances of myself), it shouldn't be a valid reason IMO. Prime example for me being Elonian Warg. Nero9012 (talk) 00:09, 19 September 2020 (UTC)

You should check the Help:Images and Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Projects/Darkroom/How to Take Images pages, from many of your screenshots it looks like you are using postprocessing and are facing the wrong direction from the light sources. Also to another topic, uploading picture with a better angle but lesser quality is not always better. ~SimeUser Sime Maraca Choya.pngTalk 17:19, 19 September 2020 (UTC)

Template is kinda aggressive[edit]

I don't usually associate a big "Red Hand" with a "stop this is perfect" message. Is there a nicer image we can use? (like a green one?...) -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 17:27, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

I was thinking red stop sign would be more likely to catch the eye of people who are likely to skim past most text. I’m not opposed to changing it if you have something in mind though. - Doodleplex 17:39, 5 October 2020 (UTC)
