Wynne = Wyn???[edit]

Do we think that this new Wynne could a reference to our Wynthyst? I know that there is already a tribute to her but it would be really nice if they have put a living NPC in the game too. User Tytan Crow Crow.jpg Titan Crow 20:30, 8 December 2014 (UTC)

It's not impossible, but Wynne is a Welsh name that means "blessed, white, fair" ([1]), which matches her personality very well. So likely just coincidence. Konig 21:02, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
The existence of Wyn, Wynne, & Wynn make this particular name less remarkable. Further, the homeage to Wynthyst (the editor), written by Stéphane Lo Presti, describes the Ebonhawke grave; it does not mention any other honors for the popular editor. On the other hand, while GW1 has a number of NPCs named after past/present wiki editors, to the best of my knowledge GW2 does not.
That said, this is one of those questions where it's easy to determine the truth: we can just ask Stéphane. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 02:02, 9 December 2014 (UTC)

Spoiler tag?[edit]

I don't know which one to use. If anyone knows, add a spoiler tag... – Valento msg 16:51, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

Attire?[edit]

Does anyone know the items that Wynne is wearing? The dress is very interesting, but I'm mostly looking for information on the vine-wrap shoes, if such a thing actually exists in-game. Aewin (talk) 07:08, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

That would be the Orchid armor; tier 2 sylvari light cultural :) —Ventriloquist 10:01, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
