Similar but Different upgrades for different structures[edit]

I noticed that the upgrade descriptions for the different structures (tower/keep/castle), while having similar names, can have different descriptions and hence can do different things. For example, you get one cannon for the tower, but several for a keep. How about using the current, nicely-made, cost tables, to also house the descriptions? It would be a more complete table and there would be no need to state which upgrades are available for which structure as it is now. Of course Stonemist Castle would then have its own table. --Alad (talk) 23:27, 23 June 2013 (UTC)

If Keeps and Stonemist Castle have identical discriptions, we could cut down so much of this pages bloat I would be rather happy. - Yandere Talk to me... 00:57, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
Indeed. I can unfortunately not visit the castle on my world right now to check this out. ^^ But I have made screenshots of all the 12 screens for tower and garrison (hopefully other keeps are the same as garrison).
PS: Just looked at the tables.. a bit too complicated for me to add a description column in those, let alone split the castle out. --Alad (talk) 01:04, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
I updated the Structural upgrades. Now it should be easier to find where the descripitions should be added. When the keep and the castle table should be split just say so. It isn'T so hard once you get used to it. ^^ - Yandere Talk to me... 02:32, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
Thank you. :) I filled in the current descriptions, except for Stonemist castle, and expanded the article's introduction as best as I could. I also reversed the listing of upgrades to better reflect the flow of supply and upgrade screens as presented in the game. --Alad (talk) 06:10, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
I splitted Keep and Stonemist Castle and re-organized the article. - Yandere Talk to me... 14:05, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
Looks very nice! :) --Alad (talk) 18:42, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

Total amount of supply[edit]

"Completed upgrades increase the total amount of supply a structure's supply depot can hold."

Is it possible to explain of how much amount a supply depot is increased from each upgrade ? 50 supply more with Structural Tiers 0 to Tiers 1 but then ? Thx. Grimsek (talk) 16:32, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

It's +25/+50 for camps, +25/+50/+75 for towers, +50/+100/+150 for keeps and +100/+150/+200 for SM. The challenge is working out how to put that on the page (maybe a "+Cap" column in the table? If the column header is too long, it'll make the column super wide and it'll look silly...) -- Dagger (talk) 18:48, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
Nice. Here's a way to put that in: Add a line at the beginning of each section, saying how much supply the depot's capacity is, and by how much it increases with each upgrade. Example:
A Tower's supply depot starts off by containing xx supply. Each completed upgrade increases the depot's capacity by:
  • Tier 1 upgrade: +25 supply
  • Tier 2 upgrade: +50 supply
  • Tier 3 upgrade: +75 supply

(Indent reset) I propose adding the following section, but need confirmation/correction of my numbers. ~ 1Maven (talk) 07:51, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

Build Time[edit]

Can we get build time researched? It seems like that time is huge. Dargus (talk) 03:30, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Apparently not, since it's been almost a year since this question was raised. I'd like to see this answer too, but note that certain build times will vary based on the availability of supply. Still it should be possible to provide assuming that sufficient supply is available. ~ 1Maven (talk) 06:37, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

How Much Better ?[edit]

If a normal wall has 450,000 hit points then how much better is a reinforced wall or a fortified wall after upgrading? Same questions for a gate. How much stronger are "strengthened" guards? How do they compare to guards immediately following claiming when they "have a significant damage boost for three minutes after the objective is captured"? ~ 1Maven (talk) 06:29, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

According to this user-created document, a reinforced wall has 676000hp and a reinforced gate has 610000hp. These figures were collected through trial and error. I did not collect these, so I cannot speak to their accuracies. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 17:05, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

Icons for HoT Guild Claiming Upgrades[edit]

Anyone have them? Be nice to add for this page. ~ 1Maven (talk) 00:57, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

Effects[edit]

New section added, based on research done by wiki user Radian found here and explained there. I'd like to add Supply Depot upgrades to this section once the data collection for the table above is completed. ~ 1Maven (talk) 09:47, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

Sounds like a solid plan, but personally I think the current design of the above table is fairly cluttered. Is there anyways you can clean it up? Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 02:43, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
What do you think of hovering over the Info images in the revised table? Plus, I'd get rid of the bottom row that's only there now to keep observed data. ~ 1Maven (talk) 08:58, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
