Interesting effect. Isn't this the first we've seen of the "knockback" thing? Eive Talk Windgrace 03:09, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

No, try the Water Trident.--Corsair@Yarrr 03:28, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Ah, I need to pay more attention, thanks Corsair. Eive Talk Windgrace 03:30, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Racial?[edit]

You think maybe some skills will be based on race AND profession? I can only picture a Norn and a Charr using this skill. Asura... not so much.--Spigs 17:32, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

A bit late from my part, but just I would just guess that the asura warrior was smart enough to put small hidraulic seismic devices on his mechanical boots to cause mini tremors in order to compete against the other races. Lokheit 23:49, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Oh well that's just cheating. I now expect my human warrior to summon the power of Balthazar so that he can compete! :P (Xu Davella 09:25, 14 February 2011 (UTC))

Underwater[edit]

How will this work?!? A stomp usually requires you to be on something solid, which water is not. Will they change the animation and/or functionality underwater? Other skills have similar problems, but this is the best example I can think of.--Corsair@Yarrr 07:40, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

I'd be more worried about Fire Elementalists in water. --Odal talk 09:48, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
You could always make the 'magic' claim with elementalist fire, but c'mon, stomping underwater?--Corsair@Yarrr 16:43, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
You both make good points but you miss one fatal flaw. IT'S TYRIA! THE LAND OF NON PHYSIC'SNESS! :L--Naut User Naut Dark Blue Monk.png 16:45, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

I had the impression skills change when you go underwater O_o. Either that or some of them get disabled... 114.77.98.223 02:19, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

I'm sure ArenaNet figured stomping underwater is hard to achieve, but then again you can apparently swim around with a few hundred pounds of armor, so /care. - Infinite - talk 11:54, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Maybe it'll change to a skill where the player slams his/her fists together to create a force wave that knocks foes back. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 14:07, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Just that they can run or jump in their armor is ridiculous. :P Yeah, I just assume it'll change under water to stomp a target creature (like a kick, but not) or to dive downward and stomp whatever is below you. –~=Ϛρѧякγ AHHH! (τѧιк) ←♥– 02:07, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
Stomp changes to Eerily warm water. It has the same knockback effects.~ Reez 16:35, 11 December 2010 (UTC)

Sword skill[edit]

Do we agree to say that this charr is dual-wielding swords? Chriskang 17:22, 22 July 2010 (UTC) Nevermind, Stomp is an utility skill unrelated to the weapon. Chriskang 17:24, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
