Anyone know how long it takes Seis to move to the next location?

Longer than a day. SarielV 20 x 20px 05:07, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
Seis just moved. Next stop is Nentor's mine. --76.220.16.170 01:00, 28 August 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 2016/08/30[edit]

It would be helpful to know the history behind Seis. When did she first appear? Is she related to living world content? Slasc (talk) 18:40, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

She was added on August 23rd, 2016 (last week's patch) and hasn't appeared in any Living Story-related content up 'till now. —Ventriloquist 18:47, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

Dat Trivia[edit]

Firstly, I don't mind which way this goes. I just enjoy thought experiments. I pulled the percentages below out of my ass, so disagree with them all you wish (I already do, but I'm too lazy to change some).

Relating to "seismic" Relating to "scythe"
Description Percentage Reasoning Description Percentage Reasoning
"Seis" being a non-random name. 100% "Seis" being a non-random name. 100%
Relating name to story. 90% Anet tends to, but doesn't always, give names to NPC's based on their story role. Relating name to item offered. 30% The surprise/gift for the player is already on her back.
Giving a Greek-based name to a charr 80% Most people would see "seismic" as a scientific word, ergo "Latin" Giving a Dutch name to a charr 10% I may be generous with that number.
Keeping the spelling to make it stand out 100% Seis is comprehensible, no need to change Changing the spelling to hide what it was 10% Zeis is comprehensible, why change it?
Product: 72% Product: 0.3%

I was going to include the chances of the name being BOTH referring to "seismic" and "zeis", but that subset would have to be less than 0.2%. G R E E N E R 19:09, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

Honestly I believe that trivia should only directly relate to specific points as to why anet has chosen the name. Champion Blademaster Cellona for example. Trivia should not include theories as to why it was named that way or relations to a specific language --76.71.50.123 (talkcontribslogsblock log)
I seem to have been the creator of this, as I put the original bit of trivia in there because both bits seemed relevant and appropriate. Seis = seismic = Primordious(the earth dragon?) is active/was "introduced" as tremors from the north and relating to Dutch, I put that there as I found it highly relevant to the npc, as doing stuff for the NPC helps you get the scythe which(or so I was told) is a Destroyer scythe(or at least the skin is) which links back to Primordus. If I misunderstood the point of adding trivia to a page, my apologies, though we do have similar bits of trivia scattered around, hence why I added it. - Doodleplex 19:42, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
Yes, there does seem to be a bit of confusion when it comes to what specifically we should be adding to each header. I feel that some well defined rules are what should be implemented. --76.71.50.123 (talkcontribslogsblock log)
Seis also sounds like "scythe" in English. - Felix Omni 19:48, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
Oooo, never noticed that. And like I said, Doodle, I wasn't posting the table to say, "Get rid of the trivia," more to say, "Huh, look at these debatable percentages." G R E E N E R 20:59, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

First conversation[edit]

Was the "First conversation" available as long as I didn't have the "Disturbance in the Depths" achievement? --BryghtShadow (talk) 13:08, 13 September 2016 (UTC)

It was one-time only, so it seems likely. It's impossible to verify now. SarielV 20 x 20px 15:28, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
