Frostgorge Sound[edit]

I found I think one seaweed node near(ish) the map sector mentioned here - am I missing something or did they move? BlauRascon (talk) 01:19, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Locations[edit]

Okay I'm starting with Frostgorge Sound since this is what I farmed earlier on a few characters

  • Two spots near the Twoloop Waypoint — [&BIACAAA=], one to the southwest by the guild race marker, and the other near or under the waypoint.
  • One more node along the course of the race track
  • One node to the southwest of Watchful Waypoint — [&BH0CAAA=]
  • Grimstone Mol is pretty hit and miss, either it will have nodes visible on the minimap when you're cruising along at sea-level, or there won't be any. Make sure you can see the Rich Mithril node (that's the deepest point). To avoid any blundering, the southwest is where the underwater tunnel entrance is.

I might be giving pointless information, but from my previous experiences in farming seaweed the nodes are not permanently in the same spot. They have a few spots/areas where they 'can' spawn but they usually won't be in the same spot every day. This is mainly based off my experience from farming Malachor's and Cursed shores, but I assume the same extends to Frostgorge as well. -Darqam (talk) 20:30, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, I just wanted to give some ballpark areas rather than "spawns in area x" .. some of the underwater areas feel enormous. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 20:32, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
I remember seeing a couple in Grimstone Mol in the past. I'll drop by and see if I can confirm any nodes there. It is a bit of a pain to navigate though, aye. BlauRascon (talk) 22:36, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
Just a note, that apparently nearly all of the areas that are linked on the page that are supposedly where seaweed spawns don't actually list it(only Dimotiki Waters does). So it might not hurt to check and confirm it spawns in certain areas at least. - Doodleplex 23:54, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
I'm a bit late, but I can confirm a seaweed node can spawn inside the mine thing in Grimstone Mol. The entirety of Frostgorge Sound's underwater system is pretty tricky with the range at which nodes will show up on your minimap because the waters are so deep. I'm going to make a circuit for some more seaweed soon, will jot down the areas I find em in. BlauRascon (talk) 16:15, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
