Talk:Raw Candy Corn

This is a Halloween item. I wasn't really sure how to handle it, but I wanted to capture the information. Daddicus 04:43, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Botched the page[edit]

Boy, I botched this. Can somebody clean it up for me? Here is the info:

The name of the mine node is "Raw Candy Corn". On the map it appears with the standard mining (triangle) icon.

I mined it with a darksteel pick in Sparkfly Fen. I received 1+1+2 Pieces of Candy Corn using one mouse click to gather it. Text:

4 Pieces of Candy Corn

Double-click to consume.

Sugar rush (10s): Movement speed increased by 10%. Stacks duration. Causes sugar crash.

A sugary, delicious, versatile treat.Consumable (sic on both 1: the period/no space before Consumable and 2: missing period after Consumable).

Crafting Material: see table for numbers. All 75 except Jeweler 125 and Chef nothing (presumably 0). Daddicus 05:22, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Not as bad as I thought. I created a new page "Piece of Candy Corn" and moved some of this there. Still needs cleaning up, but at least I captured some data. Daddicus 05:22, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Adding to discoveries, since I don't really know how to edit wiki yet: candy corn cake from baker's wet and dry ingredients, glaze, and corn. -Citarra

Sugar Rush[edit]

Someone needs to create a sugar rush template. The preceding unsigned comment was added by J0el (talkcontribs) at 08:19, 23 October 2012 (UTC).

Locations[edit]

Locations appear to be server specific so there's not really any point in making a list of where each individual node is people will just end up being confused and prolly rage that the wiki's wrong... Kitch Ranger icon small.png

After an update (late 10/23/12 ANet time) candy corn locations moved. This was not mentioned in update notes. Speculations: there MAY be a set number of locations, and there will be some minor updates which change those. So every server may eventually experiences all sets of possible locations. --Mooseyfate 10:31, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

Egg?[edit]

I had an egg drop, but since we've seen nothing else from RCC nodes, I'm betting it was from a creature in the same place. I would like to add a "confirmation requested" thingy to the Egg entry. Daddicus 02:57, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

Blood and Madness[edit]

So, Halloween 2013. Raw Candy Corn nodes are still in the game but have normal ore node icon on the map. Mad King's Labyrinth has them this year too and first I thought they are not in Tyria side at all, but they are. I scanned few maps and there was one node in each. Thinking about the story; Tassi assumes this candy corn loss is because of the Bloody Prince Thorn, and really, it's kinda obvious. It's a nuisance as this year everything costs a lot of candy corn. Just thoughts and observations I wanted to put up somewhere. Rakuin (talk) 19:22, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

tot bags[edit]

After mining this node in my home instance religiously since last Halloween (let's call that like half a year), I have never once gotten a Trick-or-Treat Bag as an extra drop. Contrast this with the Sprocket Generator, which gives me Blade Shards on a pretty regular basis.

Has anyone ever gotten a ToT bag from the home instance version of this node? I know that the ordinary ones during Halloween releases did give them once in a while. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 21:43, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
