Total Number of Instructors[edit]

I've managed to locate 15 unique instructors. I was wondering if anyone had managed to locate more? Zomperzon (talk) 21:26, 15 November 2015 (UTC)

You've found more in total than me. It would be easiest if we make a map of their locations, then if a new location is found such can be denoted and added. Konig 00:14, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
I have found 20 instructors. I am working on a map and a description on how to get to each. 1 was only accessible by getting close to them, going to the character select screen then back.
I have also found:
Some of the Instructors seem to ask the same question since they say you have already answered the question correctly, even if you had not spoken to them previously.
Some of the Instructors reset more often than at each reset. Separ (talk) 05:45, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
I could not get the above actions to repeat. I must have been doing it over the reset period. I have added the description to the 20 locations. I am working on a map. Separ (talk) 04:15, 18 July 2016 (UTC)
I encountered this too. Some instructors said I'd already answered their questions even though I'm sure I haven't done those specific ones before. And my try wasn't over reset. Following the guide I got only 18 writs because of this bug. -- Kazerniel (talk) 22:17, 26 July 2017 (UTC)

Article formatting quiries[edit]

An exception to the 'wiki only once'

This article currently contains questions from multiple different NPCs, since we can expect people will be looking up the various questions, thinking it be helpful to have links to the various articles per question, regardless if wiki'ed in a previous question. Thoughts?

How should the questions be ordered?

Again, many different NPCs are all called "Rata Novus Instructor", each asking a specific question, how do we order the questions? Sort alphabetically based on the asked question, is there some logical order a player is likely to discover the NPCs (think not), or is there some other way? Let's discuss. --Wolfie User Wolfie sig.jpg (talk|contribs) 12:43, 11 November 2015 (UTC)

I agree there's probably no real order that the player is likely to discover them. If anything, it would depend on their masteries, but even then... If I had to search a question on here, I would probably just ctrl+f, but for others, it might be better alphabetical based on the question. You can't order by region's history or date of the trivia in question as there's quite a few players that wouldn't know anything about Palawa Joko or even Cantha... :/ Syunfung (talk) 06:45, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
Regarding linking: once is more than enough. Regarding order: I know the same instructor can give multiple questions on a timer but I don't know if each instructor can give all questions. If an individual instructor only gives a certain set of question then like Quiz Terminal we separate the questions by instructor. Order within said set of questions is unnecessary, IMHO. If any instructor can give all questions, then order is irrelevant, IMO. Konig 00:14, 16 November 2015 (UTC)

Feedback 2016/09/09[edit]

Isn't there also a language (mastery) pre-req? Maybe it should be in the wiki? --72.199.206.246 02:11, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

I do not recall such. Konig (talk) 02:29, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 8/1/2020[edit]

This page / walkthrough is in desperate need of overhaul now that there are mounts. Even doing it without mounts - many of the steps are confusingly worded.

If anyone wants to make a mount version, PLEASE don't "overhaul". Make a new section with mount instructions. Don't remove normal instructions for people who play the game in proper order. Except maybe for #8, it just doesn't work (edit : got all others by just following instructions, they're pretty clear to me). Eowin (talk) 11:44, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
