Three generations ago, the warrior Jora and her brother Svanir faced temptation with a dark power. - It's nearly 300 years ago, so "Three generations ago" seems to be wrong. Or does anyone know more?--Aylia (talk) 22:57, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
- 247 years as of that dialogue, to be exact. Norn live longer than humans, so their generations would in turn be longer. Most humans would live to 80-90 by old age, while norn can easily live past 120. So for Jhavi Jorasdottir to be Jora's great granddaughter isn't unlikely, and that would make it 3 generations ago.
- Alternatively, or rather in addition, Anet seems to have a trouble with generation spans (Gwen's Grave calls Gwen and Kieran Logan's great grandparents, and Noran while old apparently was alive and married with kids ~70 years ago but they died after centaurs came in force which was mostly beginning ~50 years ago), and general age of things (Tarir is called "ancient" despite being ~200 years ago).
