Feedback 2015/11/30[edit]

Terrill seems to be working for me on armors. Made the Leatherworker one and got a token.

The heavy one hasn't been working for me on Terrill, does it for you? 46.132.184.221 14:47, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Okay I've just dropped the gold to test this. Only the heavy armor is broken, I'll reinstate the light/medium to the list. Thanks for the help all :D - Fam (talk) 16:03, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Found a provisioner who isn't listed. Quartermaster Natomi, a sylvari at the Pale Reavers post. Accepts Assassin's swords, focuses, rifles, and leg armor. WireLord (talk) 23:39, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Suggestions[edit]

Is it possible to add TP Prices to the items in the first table? Would help a lot on acquiring Provisioner Tokens. Don't know how to code them in myself though. Thanks! Tomok2404 (talk) 00:55, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

Edit: Figured it out and added prices to the table. Not sure wether to add buy prices (order) as well. Tomok2404 (talk) 01:54, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 2016/04/19[edit]

The first update today seems to have made these vendors available at all times. Some such as Quartermaster Vec are also moved closer to waypoints so that they can't be in areas swarmed by enemies. Spannu (talk) 22:04, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

Jatt requires unlocking the waypoint first, so some of these will need verification to see when they become available. Spannu (talk) 00:49, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 2016/05/04[edit]

Insert feedback text here. --98.177.212.223 21:40, 4 May 2016 (UTC) Terrill Tinkerclaw entry has the staff listed instead of the scepter. From the NPC window: "I've got an idea for some defenses I can throw together, but I'll need a rare crafted dagger, scepter, rifle, or helm with Apothecary's insignias." -Freaniathem.8672

Not sure what you're saying here, this page lists it as requiring a scepter (Apothecary's Krait Wand), Terrill's page lists it as requiring a scepter (Apothecary's Krait Wand), and you appear to be quoting an NPC saying it needs a scepter. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 22:46, 4 May 2016 (UTC)

Account/soul-bound items?[edit]

Will the Provisioner accept a bound item? E.g. one that has had its skin unlocked before turning it in, or bound and used by a character, possibly upgraded with a rune or sigil. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 13:43, 13 June 2016 (UTC)

I just tried with both an account bound (by unlocking as a new skin) and soulbound (equipping the item), and the vendor took each of them. I did not try with rune or sigil equipped. Spltscreen (talk) 20:16, 14 June 2016 (UTC)

Handy page, thanks for the info!

Price on tokens needing multiple items,[edit]

Would it be possible to add the total price it takes to buy from the new merchants? It would make it easier to compare rather than having to multiply by number needed. --Presac (talk) 12:08, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Good idea. I've changed it to show the total prices instead. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 15:26, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Short bow and longbow interchangeable? Bugged?[edit]

So there's room for human error here but after retracing my steps I believe I crafted a Carrion Krait Short Bow which I was able to accidentally turn in to the Faction Provisioner in Tangled Depths through the Rata Novus tab, which should normally only accept a Carrion Krait Recurve Bow (longbow), causing me to be left with the Verdant Brink's Itzel tab uncompleted and one piece spare Carrion Gladiator Gauntlets in my inventory. I am positive I made the short bow instead of the "recurve" long bow because I literally just discovered the recipe for the short bow by doing this, yet there is no missing short bow anywhere else on my account (I checked using GW2efficiency). If someone could test this out the next time a short bow and long bow are available on two different tabs with the same prefix, that would be worth noting on the page as a bug. 81.170.252.63 01:20, 26 March 2022 (UTC)

Secrets of the Obscure[edit]

It seems that 5 token exchanges remain the same, but the remaining 3 one token items are rotating between set items (t5 crafting material, t6 cratfing material and anotehr item like ecto or research notes).

Not even those seem stable. The amount of tradeable items seems to vary (3-5 with a mix of 1-3 weapons among them) with the only consistency being that weapons always award 5 tokens, materials award 1, 1 trade per day and the amounts of mats needed for 1 token staying the same. Skrittbrains (talk) 17:46, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

SotO: 5 token exchanges + CHANGING trades[edit]

How should we signify that the crafted weapons can be exchanged for 5 instead of 1 Provisioner Token on this page (and how that'd affect the price per token)? Additionally, I fear that I've still messed the tp parts of the table up, if someone could check, that'd be great!

We're trying to discern if there is a pattern to the change by tracking at least this one Talk:Astral Ward Skirmisher (Bastion of Strength). Skrittbrains (talk) 19:34, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

Feedback 2023/08/30[edit]

The faction provisioner at the bastion of strength takes a Stormforged axe, not a Stormforged greatsword like the article says. The Stormforged greatsword can be turned in to the faction provisioner in the bastion of the obscure. Also, the article says that the kestrel provisioner is found at Droknar's Light waypoint when it should be the Kestrel's Vow waypoint

Feedback 2023/08/30[edit]

Factions Provisioner have changed mats in SOTO or the items in the table are wrong just for SOTO

Yeah, the SotO provisioners ask for different materials each day. ~Sime 23:34, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

Dugan[edit]

While Dugan's service is not Faction Provisioner, I think including him (and the other competitive vendor) is not a bad idea, even if in a separate subsection, as this page also serves as an overview of easy provisioner tokens (whose page also redirects readers here for comparison, and now Dugan is missing from that). ~Sime 22:39, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
