Several people have noted that the materials for 1 Provisoner token change. On this NPC User:Mattsta and I noticed, that the weapons tradeable for 5 Tokens seem to change too. This raises the questions:

• Does the amount of trade options change? (3/4/5)
• Are the trades the same for every player?
• Is there a pattern or is it a random draw on reset?

Therefore i'd propose documenting the trading options. To start: Tue, 29.8. (3 options): 1 Stormforged Hammer, 250 Elder Wood, 50 Hardened Leather Sections Skrittbrains (talk) 17:53, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

It seems like the list of possible materials is the same across all the provisions in Amnytas: 250 T5 unrefined materials (except silk at 500), 50 T6 unrefined materials (except Gossamer at 100), 100 Research Notes and 5 Globs of Ectoplasm.

• So far it seems the amount of trade options doesn't change. Strength and Obscure seems to always be 3 from the list of materials and the 4 remaining weapons Axe, Greatsword, Hammer and Rifle (for a total of 3 options). The other 3 bastions have a static 4 unique weapons alongside 3 material options that change daily (for a total of 7 options).
• It would seem that the trades might not be the same for each player as Yesterday I had Hammer, but didn't have Elder Wood or Hardened Leather Sections (had Silk and Research Notes). Guessing by the time of your post you might be EU, while I'm NA. So could still be a region thing?
• I did notice that today my strength had Axe and Hammer while Obscure had Greatsword. While more data is needed to show this isn't chance, them not doubling up the same weapons might indicate a pattern.

It would make sense that ANet made 2 separate tables to 'draw' from: the first for 5 Tokens & weapons, that are for an entire map without repetitions(?), the second for 1 Token & materials, that are for each trader (definitely without repitition). Agreed on the amount of options seeming constant (the one in the Bastion of Balance having had 5 at some point is probably something i'm misremembering).

To have them diverge between NA and EU would be new! As it would require more caching i'm think unique-per-player is unlikely, but let's see... Skrittbrains (talk) 08:38, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
