At the beginning of the video the warrior throws an axe at the enemy? D'u think this is part of the skill or not? --User:Nautaut (t) 19:40, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

it miight be part ranged :) --Unending fear 19:41, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
That is interesting. Sure hope its like gw1 dancing daggers/spears, and you dont have to go grab it every time. Vald Wednesday User Valdimir newsigicon.png 19:41, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
I think thats another skill, like there were a couple skills in every Elementalist skill movies. -- Cyan User Cyan Light sig.jpg 19:42, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
There were at least 3 skills used in that video, and I'd have to say the one used the most (which was a lead attack) is Eviscerate. The axe throw and the non-leap chop are most likely not part of the skill in any way. -- Konig/talk 23:18, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Daaaang, that warrior has skills! Throwing a throwing axe while dual wielding battle axes! How exactly did he accomplish that? -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted guided sig.png (τѧιк) 01:44, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
How does a Paragon throw a Spear while still holding a Spear in GW1? Same hax skillz. --Super IgorUser- Super Igor logo.png 18:34, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
To be fair, at least paragons actually throws the spear they're holding before magically making a new one. This guy just shoots a random third axe out of his hand. Even Spiderman would be impressed by this guy's wrist shots. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted guided sig.png (τѧιк) 23:32, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

GWW Links on Skills[edit]

Sooo, with leaking we have some nice new information[edit]

It seems that this is a sixth weapon skill, entirely seperate from the bar, that is next to the adrenaline gauge. I made a mistake in my edit, and it's +20 +40 +60. So for anyone. The video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXgTFsrNseE But I'm gonna actually edit it again and add the damages. Shadowed Ritualist 00:40, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

+60 damage seems pretty low considering everyone has hp in the thousands99.1.41.126 03:42, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
The player was a dev using a dev-hack to enter "god mode" - such as being invisible to enemies (which was turned off at the very end half-way through killing the first harpy). I am doubting/hoping that everyone has HP in the thousands. -- Konig/talk 03:46, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
We don't know the first thing about how the damage system works. For all we know Strength adds a multiplier to bonus damage from skills, or any number of things. Manifold User Manifold Neptune.jpg 04:01, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
There wouldn't be a point in jacking up hp if monsters aren't hitting you. They could have raised numbers but there wouldn't be much of a point especially for something most people weren't even meant to see. It's a given numbers will be tweaked however slightly before launch but it just doesn't look right the way it is now. But since eviscerate is the charging skill for axes damage probably isn't the main reason to use it anyway.99.1.41.126 06:06, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Well, if the GW equivalent of +2...4...6 damage is considered heavy damage, I greatly question their judgment. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted guided sig.png (τѧιк) 06:16, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
anyway i love that spinning attack :D (with all the yellow lights) ;P --The Holy Dragons 06:52, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
That was likely Cyclone Axe, given that the charr was spinning, and had axes. Currently its looking like warriors get 8 skills with their weapons, notice that Eviscerate wasn't actually with the 5 wep skills, and was at the end of the adrenaline bar?--Corsair@Yarrr 06:54, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
It would be silly to force just five weapon skills for professions like the ranger and warrior. I never thought that was the case... dunno why others did. Five weapon-linked skills, then five chosen skills is all we were told, no where did anyone ever state that weapon skills couldn't be in the chosen skills... That said, for all we know, warriors could get 9 weapon-requiring skills (8 normal, 1 elite, 1 healing - just the healing not being a weapon skill), in fact, I'd doubt that there won't be an elite skill which isn't weapon based. -- Konig/talk 07:12, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
I'm not worried about damage scaling; In that video Eviscerate did 18144 damage and pretty much one-shotted a branded dog-thing. No, I'm not worried at all. Zolann The IrreverentUser Zolann The Irreverent Mysterious Summoning Stone.png!

Adrenaline Cost[edit]

Does anybody know if this skill can be used without any adrenaline? It would be a great skill for closing distance between you and a target, and the skill video shows it being spammed for movement between foes. 24.165.51.35 06:12, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

All burst skills cause you to lose all adrenaline. EiveTalk 06:14, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
The skill video shows a skill being used repeatedly to showcase what the skill looks like, that is not what it will be like in the actual game. - Giant Nuker 12:30, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

About Note[edit]

There is warning about loss of Adrenaline on miss, but on miss only CD is activated and no Adrenaline is lost.

Damage Multipliers for Eviscerate[edit]

Tested the Eviscerate Burst skill now in the PvP section. It seems the heavy target golem has 2600 armour rating.

Figures I got based on Adrenaline levels are as follows:

Stage 1 coefficient multiplier: (2.0)

Stage 2 coefficient multiplier: (2.5)

Stage 3 coefficient multiplier: (3.0)

Seems fairly consistent and makes sense tbh.. Was expecting more unusual multipliers lol--Uruzet (talk) 05:56, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
