So, that map is not complete. It is missing a couple things. I don't remember exactly but I think we should update the map next BWE and maybe stop posting maps that are incompletely showing everything. There is at least 1 renown heart missing near the Noxin place. Along the bottem edge of the map is where it should be.71.200.80.32 14:21, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

Edit: I also think during the beta we should list things that people have found bugged if they concern something that stops you from 100% completion of an area. The Snow Leopard skill challenge(I forget the exact NPC name) near the village of butcher block, up in the mountains, ended up glitching and stopped 100% completion. Finally, I also noticed in the note section someone put it requires 15 renown hearts for completion but it is stated near the top of page already. Do we need it twice? I just wanted people's opinions on these things. Thanks ~Songbringer~ (gonna finally make a wiki account I guess. 71.200.80.32 14:23, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi there. Indeed, the map is not complete, but at this state in the game's development and with the limited access periods it is inevitable that information is out of date. Rather than cease posting, we rely on our community members like you to do as you've done and make note of it so that information can be updated to a current (or at least more recent) state :).
With regards to issues of glitches and bugs, we have Template:Bug that can be added in under the == Notes == heading for the area. I've gone ahead and done so (and noticed its extremely limited availability, too!) and also removed the redundant mention of hearts left from an older state of the page. Thanks for your help! The Blast Vista is disabled at this point. Cannot compete the map without it

There's also a POI in this area (supposedly underground??) without a point of entry. This area ISN'T a "High Level" one, so being unable to complete it is going to "aggravate" a LOT of players, quickly!! I know, I'm one!!! I mean, a "cattapult"??? - when (if) you can get launched, is the appropriate command going to be "cow-a-bunga"??Undouble 11:46, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Old Grendich Aqueduct - Not an Area[edit]

I dunno, but as far as I am not completely mistaken, I am very sure that the Old Grendich Aqueduct is not an area of its own. But it is referenced in the Area overview... The Old Grendich Aqueduct is a PoI and lies within The Blasted Moors. Isn't it? - Rubberduck 19:37, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

I believe that was my mistake, due to List of hearts in Diessa Plateau. A lot of locations have changed since the BWEs (underground areas with above-ground equivalents got turned into PoI, such as this place and Mafic Core; PoI's next to waypoints got removed and the waypoints renamed, etc.). Fixing. Konig/talk 20:48, 25 September 2012 (UTC)

Stonefall Estate[edit]

I don't think this is an area. The heart listed inside of it exists but the minimap says it's in Rancher's Wash. --192.168.104.79 22:54, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

I fixed this :) — Andrealinia 11:56, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Bloodsaw Mill Herb Sprout[edit]

There's a herb sprouts node near the bloodsaw mill WP which seems to be inaccessible. 111.69.12.2 23:26, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

I got that herb sprout. There is a tower to the southwest. Use the rocks to get in that tower. I did a jump around to get in the tower. Jump forward and go left while in the air. Once in the tower, jump to the wall ledge while standing slightly right of it. From there you can walk the wall to the plateau with the sprout on it.98.242.93.53 13:35, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

New POI?[edit]

There seems to be a new POI (southern part of Arcovian Foothills). This wasn't there previously. Did it get added as part of some "upgrade"? Daddicus 00:33, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Yes, it's the North Nolan Hatchery. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 01:44, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
I'm not sure whether we should mention it, but if you go into that instance to get the POI, you can't get out by walking. I reported it as a bug, but ... Daddicus 22:55, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

North Nolan Hatchery area[edit]

It is not in Arcovian Foothills, but in Town of Nolan. I'm changing the related articles, but the map remains incorrect.Tuomir (talk) 17:36, 27 July 2013 (UTC)

The map is correct. I made it. You enter the hatchery from Town of Nolan, but when you're actually inside, the minimap says Arcovian Foothills. Also, when you go out with a character who's never been in Diessa before, the map uncovered for Town of Nolan does not include the hatchery; once you enter it, you uncover Arcovian Foothills. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 17:46, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
You can go check again, minimap says Town of Nolan. Might have been otherwise in the past, but I've been running around the area today documenting things, and the minimap definitely states it to be in Town of Nolan.Tuomir (talk) 17:50, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
Ugh, you're right, it has changed. Blast. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 03:08, 28 July 2013 (UTC)

Incorrect Number of Hearts[edit]

The info box in the top right says there are 16 hearts. In-game and by the listing on the page and map there are only 15. Couldn't figure out how to change it myself. --66.68.50.4 09:48, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

It's fixed now. Possibly a caching problem. --Spionida (talk) 13:11, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

Feedback 2020/12/09[edit]

Please be more specific on getting to Diessa from the Black Citadel. The directions say, go to this waypoint, then enter just East of Nolan (which is in Diessa). I need an entry point from Black Citadel, please. There's a gate where it looks like I should be able to go through, but no way to pass.

Entry to Diessa Plateau from Planes of Ashford[edit]

These instructions appear to be both misleading and confusing.

Under Getting There, the article states:

From the Plains of Ashford: Go to the Martyr's Waypoint in the middle north of the map. The zone is entered just east of the Breachwater Waypoint.

(Emphasis mine.)

As stated, Martyr's Waypoint is in the upper middle of the map. Breachwater Waypoint, however, is in the extreme southeast corner of the map. Ascalon City Waypoint sits between the two along the Toppled Wall, but it leads to the Iron Marches.

Based on this article alone, it's extremely difficult to figure out how to get to Diessa Plateau from the Planes of Ashford, if one can figure it out at all. (At this point, I still haven't.)

UPDATE: I've updated the Getting There section to reflect that you head due north from Martyr's Waypoint to emerge in Breachwater Lake in Diessa Plateau.
