Talk:Defense (attribute)

The attributes nav seems misleading, since the wiki does not categorize defense as an attribute (though perhaps an argument could be made that it should). How exactly should we categorize things like defense and weapon power? --Felbryn 22:21, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Well, on one hand, they are clearly attributes. On the other hand they are purely a function of item type, level, and quality, so there's little decision-making involved in choosing them. I would tentatively say they should in the nav, but small, as armor and damage are. Perhaps they should even replace armor and damage in the nav? ~ Capric 02:27, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- I think defense is just a "synonym" for Armor (the secondary attribute), because it adds to that but not to Toughness as mentioned on the page. Although adding 14 Toughness also adds 14 to Armor, but I guess it's not also the other way around (if you increase Armor that doesn't mean your Toughness attribute gets increased as well). 09:04, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
- Armor (attribute) is the sum of Defense + Toughness. —Dr Ishmael 14:03, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
