Talk:Become the Snow Leopard
Snow Leopard...?[edit]
I'm not complaining, but does anyone else think that Snow Leopard is a little weird? I mean, why snow leopard? There are other snow-type creatures. I just can't place what a Snow Leopard's significance is despite maybe having some sort of stealth compared to the other forms. Or maybe 9 lives... I interested to see what this kitty can do! --Spigs 03:41, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I personally think they look awesome, but aside from looks... hmm... ^^ Well, going purely by speculation, I'd guess that the bear represents strength, the raven represents cunning, the wolf represents valor or speed... not sure which... and the snow leopard could represent stealth. --Amannelle 03:44, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

- And it's the only feline-related form that I can think of that would be related to the mountains and snow.Mat Cauthorn, The Botanist 11:15, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

- I disagree, if any of the forms will be fail form, it'll be raven Venom20 03:13, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- How is this a fail? I don't think any form is fail, the fact that you're saying such before knowing anything about it aside from name makes you fail imo. -- Konig/talk 03:14, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- What Konig said. Sorry to seem so blunt, but how closed-minded do you have to be to completely make up your mind about something based on a name? :P --Amannelle 03:18, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

- I like all the forms. I don't know why a form would be better or worse. They'll all be equal, but they'll play a certain way. I'm pretty sure they'll reveal more and more information on things like this on the individual races page, as they have shown to update pages. (June 9th, with the introduction of the Warrior they updated the Elementalist page with it's weapons) AsuranSylvari 03:27, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- I think no form will be "better" than another, perhaps just more preferable. It comes down to playing style. Someone might choose brute strength (bear) over speed (wolf). Of course I am assuming traits as nothing is concrete yet. I myself am more a speed character, and will most likely not play as the bear ;). Venom20 03:33, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Wait, so you said that just to start a conversation? xD I suppose I agree, I prefer speed over brute strength, so I'll probably use wolf, unless Snow Leopard is more agile. --Amannelle 03:39, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- I'm gonna be going Raven most of the time. I just love birds, and as my Norn will focus more on Air magic and Water magic, it makes sense. Dwayna the 'winged' goddess has control over air, Grenth the 'Death' god has control over water. So thus the Raven would probably specialize in Water magic, and because of it's winged nature, Air magic. Yes, he's going to be an Elementalist. AsuranSylvari 03:43, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, pretty much @ Amannelle. But yes, depending on characteristics, it might be a tough choice between snow leopard and wolf. Who know, perhaps the raven will be an excellent choice, I was completely disapointed with the forms in GW1 and maybe this is throwing me off. I'll have to know more before I make my choice. But it'll probably be a few characters before I make a norn, they're like 4th on the list :p Venom20 03:48, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

- I cant wait to see what these guys look like! If they look anything like what I thought Gyda looked like, then it will be awesome!!! Gschmechel25 16:53, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
Quest[edit]
this shows a video of the snow leopard form, but after looking at the skills, it seems as though this is quest specific, and not necessarily the actual snow leopard form. Not sure what to do with it...(Xu Davella 14:03, 5 March 2011 (UTC))
- Let's call it snow leopard disguise, because the player disguises himself to scare off the dredge. 82.131.224.46 14:22, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- yeah, plus that snow leopard form was all snow leopard and no human, so it is not the same form.Headache 18:19, 10 September 2011 (UTC)
- While it's definitely not the Snow Leopard form, that raises an interesting problem. Does anyone know how this form is called ? I'd like to create a page but I don't know how to name it… My baby skill pages are orphaned, thay need their parent skill ! -Alarielle- 21:33, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

30 SP instead of 10?[edit]
I've noticed this skill takes 30 Skill points, whereas the other three shapeshifts only require ten. What makes Snow Leopard so different? ~ Ajuna 08:49, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
