Scholar Jieun is a scholar who studies the Valdhertz Crypts and the Ministry of Purity. She is found within the Kurzick Cemetery at the Zu Heltzer Historical Site, southwest of Junkyard Waypoint.
Upon talking to her, it is possible to start the achievement Cryptseeker, granting access to the Valdhertz Crypts.

- Hello, and welcome to the... Oh! You're no tourist—you're one of those adventuring types, aren't you? Good!

- I've been hunting for the ancient tomb where it's said the Kurzicks and dredge made their final stand against the Ministry. It was said that only those who "unfolded the way" could enter. Fascinating!
