Dialogue

Can you smell the smoke? Can you hear the clanging? We're building the weapons of the future. Unfortunately, we're having to wage constant battle against the Separatists just to keep on schedule.

What weapons of the future?

The future lies below the horizon. Under the water. Our submarine at the dock's end is going to finish this war against the dragons. All that's left is a few modifications.

How does it work?

When it's ready, it will be fitted with weapons and carry troops. If you want to know more, you'll have to find someone privy to the details of the operation.

You mentioned the Separatists?

Aye. Those blasted humans who refused the treaty we signed with them are a constant threat. They're constantly trying to sabotage our work from their base somewhere to the south.

The treaty?

The treaty with Ebonhawke. We stopped killing the humans and they're supposed to return the favor. Apparently, this Separatist group had their fingers crossed.

In time, we'll win them over... or run them over.

If we'd gone through with our siege of Ebonhawke, they'd already be taken care of. But Smodur decided we could better use our resources elsewhere.

We should keep looking to the future, not dwell on the past.
