Protect Bill and Hekja as they clear Risen from the area is a level 50 group event that occurs in Laughing Gull Island.
This event takes place after the area's boss, Admiral Taidha Covington has been defeated and her base, Covington Keep is controlled by the Lionguard. Hekja, a norn Lionguard, and Bill, are in the mood to hunt the Risen which infest the island, now that the pirates are gone. While the first part of this event is easily soloable, the final part requires defeating a champion Risen assisted by several of his Risen lackeys, in the tight belly of the ship.

- Bill Kinsey: Aww, crud. Looks like those foul undead are taking over where Taidha's crew high-tailed it.
- Bill Kinsey: I suppose someone should go over there and clear them out before they move even further north.
- Hekja Ravensbeak: Bill, let's you and me take care of them! I've been itching to take on some of Zhaitan's minions!
- Bill Kinsey: You never learn, do you? There's only one surefire way to make it to retirement. Never.
- Hekja Ravensbeak: Yeah, never go into battle. I've heard it. I'd rather die with blood on my blade. Come on!
- During the event
- Hekja Ravensbeak: This is just what I've been looking for. Killing pirates was growing stale.
- Bill Kinsey: Well, don't get too excited. We've got to be close to clearing this place out.
- Hekja Ravensbeak: Do you think, once we're done here, they'll send us out to kill more of them?
- Bill Kinsey: How should I know? All I know is we are here to try and hold onto this island, and these... whatever they are, aren't making it easy.
- Champion Risen Covington Captain: Taidha Covington was once my master, but now, Zhaitan is. You will perish before his will!
- Event completion
- Bill Kinsey: Glad that's over. I've had more than enough of this for the rest of my life.
- Bill Kinsey: I'm going back to Lion's Arch. At least there, when you kill someone, they stay dead.
- Hekja Ravensbeak: I can't believe you'd pass up the opportunity for more excitement like this!
- Hekja Ravensbeak: I haven't had this much fun since I stepped on Garm's tail.
- Bill Kinsey: What are you talking about? Who is Garm? You know what, never mind. I don't have time for this. Let's go.
