Dialogue[edit]
- Talking to one of the Kodan Refugees at Haymal Gore
- This place cannot give us the peace and solitude that our Sanctuaries were meant for, but that life may be beyond our reach forever. We must make do.
- Why is it beyond your reach?
- Sanctuaries were havens where we worked, lived, and meditated together. But, we've been fighting the dragon's minions for centuries. Out here, there's little peace and less solitude, and no one understands balance.
- Why is balance so important?
- To live correctly you must live in balance with the natural world, of course. Otherwise you will only bring about your own misfortune...and spread it.
- Thank you for the information. Good-bye.
- Interesting. Good-bye.
- Good luck.
- Talking to one of the Kodan Refugees at Haymal Gore
- These are dangerous times for a kodan. Dangerous times.
- What is the danger?
- The ice dragon shattered our Sanctuaries across the seas. We fought its minions for centuries, but we were finally forced to seek safe shores and new allies.
- Ice dragon?
- A monster of ice and snow. It brings cold and ruin to all it touches. Those living things that fall within its grasp become frozen vessels of its will.
- Sounds dangerous. Good luck.
- That's terrible. Good luck to you.
- That's unfortunate. Best of luck.
- Talking to one of the Kodan Refugees at Haymal Gore if charr
- Thank Koda the norn are now among us. This will help restore the balance upset by the presence of you charr.
- You have a problem with us being here?
- We welcome the norn. We suffer the charr. One is defined not by their neighbors, but their companions.
- You and the norn deserve each other. Good-bye.
- This conversation is over. Good-bye.
- Talking to one of the Kodan Refugees at Haymal Gore if norn
- Thank Koda you norn are now among us. This will help restore the balance upset by the presence of the charr.
- You prefer us to the charr?
- The charr are mindless zealots of gratuitous bloodshed. You norn are slightly less so. Given the choice between "flawed" and "failed," the kodan will relent to suffering the "flawed."
- Always happy to be of service. Good-bye.
- We're here to help. Good-bye.
- Talking to one of the Kodan Refugees at Haymal Gore if not charr or norn
- Thank Koda the norn are now among us. This should help correct the balance upset by presence of the charr.
- You have a problem with the charr?
- We welcome the norn. We suffer the charr. One is defined not by their neighbors, but by their companions.
- Very true. Good-bye.
- We'll see. So long.
