Walkthrough[edit]

The event is very simple: escort Edmund from his homestead to the Veteran Arctodus; kill the Veteran Arctodus; escort Edmund back.

There are no other monsters directly related to the event, but Edmund's path has numerous Arctodus and Young Arctodus that you must defend Edmund from.

Dialogue[edit]

Upon approaching Edmund:
Edmund: Ugh, these boots hurt my feet. But it's too cold to take them off.
Edmund: I know what I need: a bear skin rug.
Edmund: I bet I could turn that old arctodus up the hill into an amazing rug.
Edmund: Follow me, we'll get that sucker.
Upon killing the Veteran Arctodus:
Edmund: Nice work!
Upon event success:
Edmund: Oh yeah, this looks nice. So soft and warm.
Edmund: Yet fearsome, too. Just like a good norn woman!
Edmund: Take your shoes off and luxuriate in my rug! I couldn't have done it without you.

Notes[edit]

  • Unlike many other events of this type, where you need to start the event off by talking to an NPC, this event starts as soon as you approach Edmund if the event has not ended recently.
