They are. Gheimridh and I tend these pods together. She keeps the pods healthy, and I greet those who have newly awakened.

I don't remember my Awakening very well.

That's not uncommon. Emerging from the pod is incredibly disorienting. Before that, you were asleep. Awakening is not an easy experience.

What is waking like?

Awakening from the Dream is jarring. I liken it to having been blind and deaf all your life, then suddenly you can see and hear. Sights, sounds, and knowledge flood over you.

What's the Dream like?

Some among us awaken while still in the Dream, but this is uncommon. Most don't awaken until they emerge. Those who do,[sic] report that it's surreal and disorienting, like a normal dream.
