This is a refugee camp?

A way station. We fled from the Forged forces and stuck around to help others do the same. The desert is harsh, but the journey north is safer with a place to stop and rest.

What sort of danger can refugees expect?

Take your pick. Balthazar's forces are on our trail, and if the Awakened don't get us, the Brand will. And if we manage to dodge both of them, we still have the wildlife to answer to.

We're not expecting any soon, no. But they do come through often, so check back if you'd like to help.
