Cleanup

If anyone comes by and notices that their website/app was removed, this is because it pointed to a dead link. Once this is resolved feel free to ask to be put up on here again.

As a formatting note, should we also start clearing out apps which are effectively obselete or very clearly no longer updated? Say for example build websites that still use the old 30 point lines? Or should we leave them since they still technically work? -Darqam 16:25, 17 January 2017 (UTC)

Re-Cleanup

Ok so I got around to cleaning up a bit the page. I chose to pretty much just decide on a case by case if the app/webpage/whatever still worked fine since some projects simply don't *need* frequent updates to work fine. I also couldn't check any of the itunes apps to see if they even existed since it was being buggy for me. If anyone has quarrel with my choice feel free to bring it up, I'm very aware that this way of doing it might cause some issues. -Darqam 14:16, 4 October 2017 (UTC)

Good point. The github readme and a github.io website is on my todo list. Right now the github release link is on the right side, but that is still quite hidden when you are unfamiliar with github, which will be the case for every regular user. I gonna add a release link there too. My plan was that the github readme is for developers and the github.io website will be for users (direct download link etc). I will then link the github.io website in the readme as well. When that is done I may wanna use the github.io link instead of the github link in this table.

Shouldn't obviously outdated/abandoned projects be removed?

I feel like projects that already link to an archived page, or the github repo is archived should just be removed. There are many other obviously abandoned projects.

The server was shut down as soon as it was discovered that there was a data leak. It was fixed on the second day and now there is no leakage. -Terter 14:32, 28 July 2023 (UTC)

Request to add gw2search and chatr

Requesting to add two utility desktop apps to the list.

- gw2search is a combination console/gui app that searches the api for skills/traits/items and returns the matching gw2 API id(s). Uses heavy local caching so subsequent searches to the API are in the milliseconds. I'm slowly adding more content to the tool, so "API used" will change.

- chatr is a console-only app that transforms build chat codes into website markup (currently using armory-embeds, templating is planned). This is heavily used on https://accessibilitywars.com
