Wilted Bough is a refugee from the Honor of the Waves. He lost faith in the survival of his kind and is awaiting death near the ruined ship.

- They assure me that the end of the world has not come, but with all the destruction and death, I find I do not believe them. My world is crumbling around me.
What will you do?
- Wait for my own death. And, in the meantime, swim like a fool through the frigid waters at the world's end. I'm not hopeful, but neither am I suicidal.
