they should balance it by doing it the ArenaNet way, by removing greatswords, warriors and mesmers from the game. if that doesn't work, a 90sec recharge usually does the trick. there I said it. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:28, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Aside from awesome nerfs like that, someone opted for less health and more toughness on foes. That way, condition-based players can match up. Qiff (talk) 08:49, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Possible solution[edit]

Make enemies have auto-attacks and make downed state HP pool depend on vitality and/or toughness. "Dying" in GW2 is currently laughable as nobody really cares since one will revive them, they need to review this mechanic or downed will simply be ignored, how many times I combo'd Mist Form while rezzing a downed player and a necromancer used Signet of Undeath or a warrior used their banner... – Valento msg 10:53, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Not a bad point at all. The way it is set up now, it definitely favors more reckless play. The livestream is soon (or now), maybe we know more after that.
