A similar system to the wardrobe, contains Runes, Sigils, Jewels and Universal upgrades such as Gemstones and Crests. Infusions and Cosmetic Auras are not included.

Upgrades can be unlocked by using a recipe in the mystic forge, it should require multiple items of the upgrade and 1-2 gold. Once an upgrade has been unlocked, charges for this upgrade can be collected by consuming this specific upgrade up to a cap of 250. 250 charges of one upgrade could be exchanged against one charge of one specific upgrade with the same rarity and type, even if that upgrade is not unlocked yet. Those charges can be used to apply an (unsalvageable) upgrade to an item. If this rune is present in the inventory (and not contained in an invisible bag), this rune is prioritized If an upgrade doesn't have any more charges but is unlocked, Enchantment Dust can be used instead. Enchantment Dust works as a currency and should roughly cost 20s per charge.
