Upgraded Comms Device (Experimental) is a story-related gizmo.
Acquisition[edit]
- Initial acquisition: Via ingame mail message at the beginning of Commander without a Cause.
- Re-acquisition: From Taimi's workdesk in the Eye of the North after deleting this device from your inventory (if you would like to replay the story chapter).

Notes[edit]
- It can be safely deleted after completing the story, as it can be reacquired later for replays if necessary.
- Despite the mail saying that you need to reacquire it from the Eye of the North after destroying it, restarting the story chapter from the Story Journal will cause Taimi to send the initial mail with the item attached to it again.
