Isn't it just duplicating {{item icon}}? MalGalad 14:09, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Ok, after DrIshmael's edit I get it... MalGalad 14:34, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
Nice work. I go to sleep and somebody goes and spiffy's up the template overnight. Maybe I should rely on Gremlins for everything Tsafran (talk) 12:50, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, it's just adding a semantic annotation along the way. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 14:35, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
It currently looks awkward. The icons don't line up and there's no white space between the numbers and the icons. 75.37.19.159 18:29, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
That's nothing to do with this, the number is outside of the template. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 18:55, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
Min/max range parameters? I don't think we need parameters to change the link or image for items that get dropped.--Relyk ~ talk < 01:54, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Packages?[edit]

Should drops also be used for packages like: Tiny Bag of Stolen Goods? - Yandere Talk to me... 01:58, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

That should be a different property, "Contains item". (I'm going to change the property in this one to the more logical "Drops item".) —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 02:41, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Also, the official term for those (from the API and TP) is "Container". —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 02:45, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
The wiki uses Package: Main article, category, infobox information. Should probably be changed to Container than. - Yandere Talk to me... 03:17, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Definitely change it to container.--Relyk ~ talk < 03:22, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Oh boy, lots of work ^^ - Yandere Talk to me... 03:31, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
I can run a bot to update the infoboxes (from type = package to type = container), so don't worry about that part. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 03:59, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Ah th good old bots. ^^
To get full coverage for container we bascilly just need: Property:Contains item, Template:Contains and Template:Contained in, right? - Yandere Talk to me... 04:17, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Yes, same approach.--Relyk ~ talk < 04:26, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

NPC level?[edit]

Could we add an input parameter to record the level of NPC that drops an item? It could then be displayed by template:dropped by so readers can know that not all levels of that NPC will drop that item. I know this would probably require a lot of work to go back and update pages, but I think it would be very useful.

(Obviously, if the NPC only has one level or if all levels can drop the item, there's no need to use this new parameter in that case.) —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 04:10, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

Item ID[edit]

Any chance to alternatively accept item IDs instead only names? That way we'll be able to link to the specific champion bags when a creature may drop one that shares names with the ones dropped by other types of enemies, and lists would get automatically upgraded if an item changes.
