Are we limited to a single unique or only one of each type?
- The restriction is only per each individual item. You can equip multiple unique items at once. —Dr Ishmael 18:55, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- I just wasted 35 laurels on a fucking useless ring and it's infusion because it was marked unique but dod not mentioned that it was in referencxe to the fact you cant euip 2 of them at once. Fucking game. Yseron - 80.11.87.230 12:01, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- But can you equip the Red Ring of Death (infused) and the Crystalline Band (infused) at the same time? They both have the same stats but one is Offensive and the other is Defensive.Cinnamongod 17:44, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
- The note on the description page that an infused and non-infused item count as 2 different items should be removed, as it is certainly NOT correct. I purchased a second Armband of Truth to test this theory and could not equip both (one with an infusion, and one with an empty slot). If one wants 2 items with the same stats, one must buy the offensive version, and the defensive version. This note is causing people to waste hard to earn laurels.--68.11.120.188 23:28, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Adding an infusion to an item does not make it infused. They are two totally different game mechanics that happen to have extremely similar names. --Felbryn (talk) 23:41, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Oh, Felbryn, thank you so much for clearing that up. I did not see the link to infused on the page and did not realize they were completely separate classifications. I do still think there should be more clarification in the description page, but your response is perfect.--68.11.120.188 23:48, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- You didn't see the link because I only just added it. --Felbryn (talk) 00:21, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Then you are made of awesome. Might I suggest you add your response to the page as a note, verbatim, for extra clarity?--68.11.120.188 00:26, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Legacy Fractal Rings[edit]
I noticed that legacy fractal rings (prior to the Fractured patch) are having different item id then the current ones, and it seems like this mechanic is based on the item id instead of the item name. For example, I have 2 Palawa Joko's Finger Cuff (Infused) in my bank, one with id 39607 and another with id 49419, yet I can equip both at the same time. --Maplemist 01:33, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, that's correct. However, this situation is extremely rare, and most players don't know/care about item IDs, so we present the info is a slightly simplified manner. If you'd like to add a more technical explanation, go ahead. —Dr Ishmael 03:08, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
