Talk:Sensor Tracking

The icon seems to be some sort of magical ethereal compass. It kind of reminds me of something I've seen in a movie or TV series, but I can't put my finger on it. A reference to something, maybe? MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 17:08, 24 August 2016 (UTC)

It definitely doesn't look like it was designed by a Charr. Maybe Orrian or Janthir? SarielV 20 x 20px 16:00, 25 August 2016 (UTC)

Maybe someone could explain what the icons mean, because I spent 30 min running around completely confused, then said screw it, and moved on to something else.--24.19.192.152 22:30, 1 October 2016 (UTC)

I'll have to go in-game again to check, but I believe they are colour coded based on how far the sensor is from you (and also used Roman numerals?). They'll lead you to very small fuzzy patches on the ground which you can interact with. G R E E N E R 08:26, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
Red (3) is infinity~??? range, blue (2) is ???~3024 range, and yellow (1) is 3023~0 range. It uses New Krytan numerals. I need to find a better way of measuring distance because squad markers disappear in the blue range. --BryghtShadow (talk) 09:22, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
Forgot to mention. You want to be looking for Magical Sensors. They will not show up as usable objects so holding Ctrl is pointless. When nearby, the interact text will say "Recover [F]". Calling target on it while in a group will display in the chat panel "You have called target on Unknown."
Also, the screenshot for the magical sensor is for the highlighted object. Without mouse-over, it's rather dull-colored. --BryghtShadow (talk) 10:35, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

Add time limit to infobox?[edit]

As the title says - why is the time limit not in the infobox? It's something I#d consider highly important, that shouldn't be hidden within the text. --Cyberman 22:14, 3 February 2018 (UTC)

Gamma setting Feedback 2019/07/29[edit]

Depending on your setting, it can be really hard to detect the mark on the ground, especially on snow. There it may look a bit like a patch of yellow snow. I've tried to do this quest a few times.
