Audio[edit]

If you haven't seen the skill animation, check it out -snip-! I can't believe how awesome the sound effects (more specifically, the screaming) for this skill are!-- Shew 01:18, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Woah now that's some epic coolness! I also watched the other necro vids there and the animations seem to be really amazing, many thanks for sharing! User EM Signature.jpg ***EAGLEMUT*** TALK 01:34, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Actually, I just got to know that it is leaked content asked by Regina not to be released, so you're a bad guy. User EM Signature.jpg ***EAGLEMUT*** TALK 08:19, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Look how quickly a decent human turns into another robot when the "authority" starts writing "laws".
here are some more videos so fans of Anet and Guild Wars can rejoice
link removed, leaked content Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә User Aliceandsven 3.png ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 08:38, 23 August 2010 (UTC)forgot to sign sorry
I didn't realize she asked the community to avoid sharing the videos. I like how you assumed that I knew that and completely disregarded her request.-- Shew 13:38, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Okay, then you're a good guy.Sorry I didn't mean to assume anything, was just noting it. User EM Signature.jpg ***EAGLEMUT*** TALK 13:52, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Now its oficial, I can say that the sound effect IS awesome. Just for that, pegi rating 12+ =P -- Cyan User Cyan Light sig.jpg 17:47, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Skill Effect[edit]

Does this just explode a random minion? Victor6267 User Roaring Taco Black Moa Chick.png 13:36, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

I would imagine it either detonates a targeted minion or the minion nearest a targeted enemy. Or maybe it makes a minion move to your target and detonate. Hard to say, though, without knowing how the demo worked. -- Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png 13:48, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
It explodes one minion instantly. The minion could be anywhere. This is from PVE testing when one minion is more damaged than the other. Sometimes it blows the most damaged, sometimes not. Sometimes the one nearest an enemy (targeted or not), sometimes not. It could be blowing them up in order of summon, but since they're identical and effectively summoned nearly simultaneously, there's no effective difference between order of summon and random order. Traits[edit]

afaik there's no trait directly influencing putrid explosion anymore; at least none on the current List of necromancer traits. Ee 14:26, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Training of the Master reportedly effects sequence skills, specifically including Putrid Explosion. That report is more recent than the above comment, but still rather old. It should probably be rechecked. Okuza (talk) 23:54, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
