I don't know why there's both a talk:user and a user:user page; I suppose ego-vain or high-posting folks might want to separate them. I created both simply so I could put them on my watch-list and thus know if someone is trying to communicate with me (I don't have this wiki wired for direct brain input :).

It's basically the same reason as why we have talk pages for mainspace articles. The user page is for you to do whatever you want with. Some people create elaborate shrines to their characters, some people use them as scratchpads/sandboxes, a lot of people don't have one at all. The talk page is for other people to discuss stuff with you. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 01:12, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
Makes sense, though I far prefer your "shrines" phrase to my "ego/vain"; leaves the implied value judgment to the reader. ^^ Okuza 01:24, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

Transmutation color[edit]

In your recent changes to Transmutation, u say that The resulting item's color on its text display will match that of the item used for the stats; i.e. resultant color matches middle-box prefix item. But this contradicts the text that was there previously which says that the color used is that of the item used for the appearance. Have you tested this? Cheers. --Combatter 22:42, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Yes, I've tested this. The final item always matches the stats for it's color. I've not tested legendary items, though. I can show you numerous items in game that behave this way, if you like. Okuza 22:45, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
OK. I could've sworn when I've transmuted stuff it has used the appearance color but I'll trust you. :) --Combatter 23:01, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
IIRC, the color during the transmute itself shows as the color of the skin, but once you're done and you link it or look at it, it matches the stat box. Okuza 23:22, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
Ah - I think I'm getting confused between transmutation with a stone/crystal and the various 'skin' items that apply a skin to an item which I think behave differently. --Combatter 23:24, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
I have a super-sword skin (naturally yellow) on my lowbie guardian at present. The final item is green. I also have blue skins on green stats, which show as green. But, yeah, I seem to recall seeing oddities now and then where things show differently than the box. I haven't pinned down the details for those, though. I'm pretty sure legendaries show purple regardless of their stat-box, but I haven't tested that myself (don't have one). Okuza 23:29, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

VOIP ducking[edit]

Thanks for your comments in 'talk' on this. I've been living with ignorance of how to use this slider until deciding today to go at it again. I'll add some summarizing comments to the Article; please check to see if I have interpreted this correctly. --Gold Recluse (talk) 20:30, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
