Is there Data Aggregator extensions in gwiki?

A column may be needed to include the zone each vendor is in.

Please include a category for recipes sold by karma merchants. 87.113.101.128 00:51, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

What about underwater headgear armor sold by Mei Shadowwalker (Renown Heart NPC) in Gendarran Fields?

Qualdup in Frostgorge Sound sells lvl77 aqua breathers. There are also lvl80 ones in Orr. This page needs an aqua breather section, especially given the lack of availability of these helmets elsewhere. (217.123.16.6 21:35, 19 September 2012 (UTC))

I tried to add ...[edit]

I tried to add some recipes to the list, but I couldn't make it work. I tried copying and pasting the last few lines (from 2 lines above the weaponsmith title line), but it wouldn't show up correctly. Can someone explain what to copy/paste to make another section (for Huntsman, for example)? Thank you. Daddicus 03:56, 2 October 2012 (UTC)

Tables are a bit of a drag - to make this work, you need to copy the below just under the weaponsmith but before the |} sign:

|-

! colspan="5" |

Weaponsmith
|-

| Recipe: Wooden Sword|| fine

| 0 || 35 karma || Carman Fawntracker

Then copy / paste the last three lines in the example above for each new recipe.
To get slightly more technical, |- indicates a new row, | and || define individual cells within that row, and ! a header row (boldened text). The |} sign closes the table, so if you pasted your lines below that sign, it wouldn't have worked because what you pasted was outside a proper table. Hope that helps? Alastair.4612 09:16, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
You called it perfectly: I was pasting below the end of the table. I'll try again.
And, THANKS for the other tips. I know a little HTML, so this makes sense to me. Thanks! Daddicus 23:17, 2 October 2012 (UTC)

Cooking list is outdated[edit]

Went to Farmer Eda who now only sells loafs of bread for 35 karma a piece. (192.168.104.83 12:18, 13 October 2012 (UTC))

The Sep. 2014 patch has now apparently removed the `Apples in Bulk` from Eda- can we get confirmation on where to go now for this item? --Eggman1405 (talk) 21:09, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

Salvage Kits missing?[edit]

Is that intentional? --Cyberman 10:23, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

I don't think so, because this list is far from complete. Feel free to add them. Thief tango icon 20px.png Shol 11:43, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
OK, I started to add them. Also Gathering tools (only iron mining pick for now). I'm not sure about the table design - hope it fits? Repeating the item name would be wasteful, so I left it out and put it in front instead.
Perhaps this list should be on the item page and just a link here?--Cyberman 17:10, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
P.S: The list is obviously incomplete - should that be mentioned on the page or is it sufficient to do so here? Also, for now I'm going to update the list on my Sandbox, since it's quicker than this long list. (If there's a protocol for doing this and I'm wrong, just tell me.)--Cyberman 17:27, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

It seems all karma merchants no longer carry Salvage Kits, tried a whole bunch, anyone found any still with them? 58.7.123.185 mk

Gathering tools[edit]

Updated the assorted harvesting tools with (hopefully) a more complete listing of the karma vendors who offer them...then had a thought. The current section for harvesting/gathering tools uses a separate table for each level AND type...should they just all be consolidated into a single table like the cooking materials have? Just a random thought... Darth Cupcake 19:52, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

Great candidate for automation[edit]

Can be a big task, but this page is the ideal candidate for automatic lists. :D --Alad (talk) 21:17, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

As soon as I get the vendor subobjects working and tables get converted to use SMW, we can do it.--Relyk ~ talk < 22:14, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

Valuation of Karma in copper coins[edit]

For the items which can be purchased with either karma or coins, I did a comparison and noticed an anomaly:

Copper and iron implements, and crude and fine salvage kits all value a karma point at 7/8 copper per karma.

Steel, darksteel, mithril, and orichalcum implements all value a karma point at 8/7 copper per karma.

Are either the anomaly or the valuations worthy of placing on the main page? Daddicus (talk)

Karma Cost Outdated / Inconsistent with other pages[edit]

Hey guys, I don't know how to edit here and don't really want to get into that; but if someone does care about this, there are many items that are not showing correct Karma costs in this column. The first item I noticed was the Cloth Crab Grabbin' Gloves Listed cost as 266 Karma. Actual cost is 532 Karma. I have checked this in-game and on the Karma Merchant's respective page.

Uh - do you realise there is a masterwork and a fine version? Both variants are listed on this page, as they are listed on Cloth Crab Grabbin' Gloves, with the fine version costing 266 Karma and the masterwork costing 532 Karma. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:49, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
I have added items sold by cultural vendors, do we want to include those here? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 23:23, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

Automation; Is it now possible?[edit]

Some time ago (2013) it was mentioned that this page would be ideal for automation. It's now missing a scary number of items that cost Karma. Is the wiki in a place where automating this page is now possible?

I honestly don't think it is, unless we do a massive split, such as splitting karma merchants by zone, or area, even. —Ventriloquist 10:27, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
I've created subpages for the weapons:
What we lose in detail we gain in completeness. The same can be done for the other sections. If we're not wanting subpages, we can always delete those. G R E E N E R 01:00, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
Added armour sets:
Ran into a problem though with Accessories. There are a TON of accessories, too many for the template to handle. May have to break them down by rarity, but that's a bit extreme. There are even too many Fine accessories for the template to handle. G R E E N E R 21:36, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
I'm assuming by accessories you mean the overall trinket panel, so I'd break them down by type instead, ie Ring, Amulet, Accessory. If that's not what you meant than yeah, you might have to break them up by rarity, because sometimes it does have to be done that way to make things not break(I had to do it for Mystic Coin recipes). - Doodleplex 21:39, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
Alright, a few more done:
Next annoying challenge is "Recipe sheet". A ton of duplicates showing up due to being sold by many vendors. At least | status = Current culls a few items. G R E E N E R 05:56, 31 August 2017 (UTC)
