Are we certain that the matriarch uses this model/texture? I am certain that the matriarch is non-mordrem; but the image shows the one in DS which I believe is named Mordrem Wyvern. Does a non-wyvern and wyvern really share an identical texture? -Darqam (talk) 18:57, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

Yep, double checked it myself as seen in the following picture to make sure they weren't the same npc before I split the two pages: http://imgur.com/x5zc89W. The overhead icon means the same model was used for both npcs, the only real difference is that you can't take a picture of the mama wyvern during the day because she only appears at night, hence why I used the DS version because I could take that one during the day and get a better picture. - Doodleplex 19:13, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
Huh, interesting. I am slightly disappointed this is true... ah well. Thanks for confirming this! -Darqam (talk) 19:30, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
The Wyvern Matriarch is defintely a mordrem, which makes the story of the Wyvern Patriarch rather sad - not only does Mordremoth destroy his nests and homes as it brought down the Pact, and not only does the Pact fight it because it's retaliating against home invaders (the Pact and mordrem), but its matriarch got captured by the mordrem.
Fun fact: the Patriatch is the only non-mordrem canopy boss. Konig 19:50, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
Huh, I swear I couldn't find any typical mordrem markings on the matriarch when I last looked (granted that's weeks ago). Welp, my mistake then. -Darqam (talk) 19:54, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
Adult mordrem wyverns are the least plant-looking mordrem, for whatever reason, but the main give away is the breath - it's poison-fire, instead of the typical fire. Same exact kind of breath used by Adolescent Mordrem Wyverns and the adult Legendary Mordrem Wyverns (both the one during the lane event in DS, and those untargetable ones that fly around Dragon's Domain). The NPC used to be called Legendary Mordrem Wyvern too, until it got changed to match the event UI some time after release. Konig 19:57, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
Poor papa wyvern...Anet needs to give him a new lady wyvern to make lots of wyvern babies so rangers can tame them clearly. Or at least name their things named correctly so we all don't get confused like this lol. - Doodleplex 20:20, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

Feedback 2017/07/28[edit]

There is a typo in the header for Event Involvement. --71.246.253.86 23:41, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for letting us know! It's been fixed. Don't be afraid to go ahead and fix typos yourself in the future, if you want to. The wiki is maintained by players, so you're most welcome to contribute! --Idris (talk)

Feedback 2018/07/23[edit]

Clarification for the charge attack: The charge attack is always focused on a player at range. If the whole group is in melee range, this attack is never performed. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.7.47.233 (talk) at 20:20, 23 July 2018‎ (UTC).

I swear that I got a Bladed Coat Box from this fight a few days ago. Is that a possible drop, or did I complete an achievement that rewards a Coat Box, or...? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.112.144.16 (talk) at 15:12, 15 February 2022‎ (UTC).

It is a rare drop from the event (at least the chest page said so). Added it to the event's page now, thanks for the feedback. DJemba (talk) 15:19, 15 February 2022 (UTC)

This spawns at xx:09 (beginning of night bosses on the event timer, but it's a 20 minute range so..). I couldn't find that info easily accessible, and this is a popular alt parking spot. So you can park on the platform and log in a minute or two beforehand and be golden. Gartner (talk) 04:36, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
