There is no such thing as a "kraken" in terms of race in Guild Wars 2.

This "race" is purely a creation of the user Konig des Todes, and it is apparent that this user has repeatedly reverted any edits correcting his errors.

I'm not certain what wiki policies exist on the GW2 wiki, but on the real wikipedia such a user would be banned from editing certain pages for causing edit wars.

"The Leviathan" from Guild Wars one is what the encounter with the Jade Maw and its tentacles is based off of. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.194.207.38 (talk) at 08:45, 9 September 2021‎ (UTC).

The Leviathan is what appears to be a wurm and also the official renders of the Jade Maw by Katy Hargrove are titled "Kraken_01", "Kraken_04", etc. These can be found at her blogspot. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sunlion (talk • contribs) at 08:55, 9 September 2021‎ (UTC).

The challenge mote item for the Legendary collection is called "Jade Kraken Timed Mote", other related items also call the Jade Maw a kraken. ~Sime 13:53, 9 September 2021 (UTC)

Hello IP 71.194.207.38, as mentioned by Sunlion and Sime, the Jade Maw is referred to as a Kraken on a few occasions by devs and the game. A simple search would show this. I would appreciate if you do your research before you make false accusations that are easily verified and requesting people to be banned.

I can understand the confusion about calling the Jade Maw a Kraken, though, given it completely lacks the typical squid appearance that GW1 uses. But I didn't dub it such. Konig (talk) 14:27, 9 September 2021 (UTC)

Hello there IP. I understand your desire to make sure everything on the wiki is accurate and factual, but as stated above, there is enough evidence to state the page is perfectly valid, and if it wasn't valid it would have been tagged for deletion a previously. Additionally, I don't quite understand the rest of your comments, there was no edit war on the this page, nor was there any reverts of any kind, just general maintenance edits for the most part, so demanding he be banned is bit odd. Can you please elaborate your issues with the editing history of this page, because I seem to be missing something. - Do_odleplex 22:28, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
