API didn't want to play ball because the recipe that the item unlock id links to is missing, and so are the individual armor/weapon pieces >.> -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:02, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

API only lists "discovered" items/recipes, have to wait until players actually receive the recipe sheets as drops, use them to unlock the recipe, and then actually craft the item. Or get the Keeper's chest as a drop, but that skips the recipe. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 18:31, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
Also, to explain why I moved the inscription page you just created, the insignia recipe sheet 49705 is the only one that uses the possessive form of "Zealot's" in its name; the insignia 49864, inscription 49863, and inscription recipe sheet 49677 do not.
aye I was bashing my head on the metaphorical desk when I saw that the non-recipe page didn't have the additional "'s" in the title, I was sure it did earlier, my mistake >.< -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:04, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
damn that smw is totally broken on Recipe: Keeper's Zealot's Insignia :( -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 19:26, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

Historical?[edit]

We had a complaint over on reddit regarding ascended acquisitions in general. Probably a couple of you already saw it. One of the other items in there was a complaint that Keeper's gear wasn't mentioned as historical. Is it being kept as 'current' because you can stat swap in the forge? I would say being able to get the exotic insignia and stat-swap counts, it doesn't look that hard to obtain really. But at the least Recipe: Keeper's Zealot's Insignia, Recipe: Keeper's Breastplate, Keeper's Armor Chest etc. only have historical aquisition methods listed and aren't marked as historical/discontinued so I don't think anyone actually made a concious decision about that, it seems like it's just been overlooked. —Azurem 15:51, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
Agree, I don't think the item itself should be marked as historical if you can 'easily' aquire it outside of the TP. However, we might want to revisit the items that supposedly drop it, if they don't drop the item anymore, then that needs to be addressed. -Darqam 16:16, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
If someone does this, be sure to tag the recipes as discontinued instead of historical, since that keeps the trading post prices in the infobox. Tyndel (talk) 16:26, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
So THAT'S the purpose of "Discontinued"! SarielV 20 x 20px 21:49, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
This is probably my fault for creating the original page using the copy/paste template that i used on every other ascended armor page. In any case, I've revised the acquisition section into discontinued and current items. Perhaps we should now go and mark the recipes for the keeper's armor as discontinued too?
I wonder if there are any other event-dropped-only items that we should mark as deprecated too? -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:46, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
